Why the tool needs no account

The strikethrough conversion is a pure client-side operation. When you type text into the generator, the JavaScript code running in your browser inserts Unicode combining characters (U+0336) after each letter. No request is made to a server. No data is transmitted anywhere. The conversion is entirely local — your browser is both the input and the output system.

Because no server processing is involved, there is nothing to authenticate. There are no API quotas to enforce, no per-user usage tracking to enable, and no backend infrastructure to fund through a paid plan. The account-free model is not a feature added for marketing purposes — it is a direct consequence of the technical architecture.

What data is collected when you use the tool

The text you type is never sent to Flowfiles or any third party. It stays in your browser's memory for the duration of your visit and is cleared when you close the tab. Flowfiles does not log your input, does not store your generated text, and does not share any usage data associated with the content you process.

Standard analytics (page views, sessions) may be collected at the domain level following our privacy policy, but these are aggregate metrics — they contain no information about what text you typed or what you generated.

Using the tool on a shared or public device

Because the tool requires no account, there is no session to stay logged into. If you use the generator on a shared computer (a library, school, or work machine), you leave no persistent trace in the application. Your generated text exists only in that browser tab until you close it. Other users of the same device cannot access your history because no history is stored outside the browser session.

If you are concerned about the browser's local history or autocomplete, use private/incognito mode. The tool functions identically in private mode — the in-browser JavaScript runs the same way.

How no-signup compares to tools that require registration

Text generators that require a free account often do so to build a user database, send marketing emails, gate advanced features behind a paid plan, or enforce usage limits. Creating an account on such tools means agreeing to terms of service, receiving promotional emails, and having your usage pattern tracked per account.

Flowfiles takes the opposite approach. The tools are funded by the traffic they generate, not by converting free users into paid customers. An account system would add friction, not value — and would require collecting data that Flowfiles has no intention of collecting.

Offline use

Once the page is loaded, the strikethrough generator works without an internet connection. The JavaScript is embedded in the page and requires no external API calls. If your connection drops after the initial page load, you can continue generating struck text without interruption. The Copy button uses the browser's native navigator.clipboard.writeText API, which also works offline.

Mobile usage — no app installation required

Using the generator on mobile requires no app download. Open the tool in any mobile browser — Safari on iOS, Chrome or Firefox on Android — and use it the same way as on desktop. Because no account is needed, there is nothing to log into after switching devices. Open the page on your phone, generate your text, copy it, and paste directly into Instagram, WhatsApp, or wherever you need it.
